Cash Plus, Inc. announced today that it has earned a prestigious Activa Award for its community service initiatives. The company was one of only twelve member firms to receive Activa Awards in 2012 from the Financial Service Centers of America (FiSCA), a national industry association. In announcing the awards, FiSCA Chairman Joseph Coleman said, “Our Activa Award program recognizes members of FiSCA who have made extraordinary commitments to helping others.”
Cash Plus, Inc. was honored for its long-running programs that give back to communities in which it does business. Its BravoKids® program to help children in need began in 2000 and its Cashaway™ Sweepstakes was launched in 2001. Together, they were the longest running “giving back” programs among this year’s Activa Award recipients. In a 13-year period, Cash Plus, Inc. has given out over $275,000 in cash awards and charitable contributions in the names of each year’s top three grand prize winners.
“This year’s recipients have all demonstrated that during these trying economic times, it is most important to lend a hand to a neighbor,” observed FiSCA’s Coleman. Craig Wells, Cash Plus, Inc.’s President and CEO added, “We couldn’t agree more. And we’ll keep on doing it, trying times or not.”
